| My earlier work began during trips to Europe, the Middle East, and East and North Africa during the 1970's. I was not thinking about creating bodies of work but rather documenting bits of my experience without much thought. It was spontaneous shooting. I was to wait another 20 years before I returned to this vital way of photographing. |
